This coming week hopefully I will get the last 3 upgrades I need to replace the last of my blues.

But, with that one piece and having enough valor to get the 522 next from Shado-Pan assault, I have got up to 479: 1 short of being able to access the new Throne of Thunder raid!! Since the reset, I have ran all the LFR’s but with no luck… only getting 1 piece of loot even with my12 bonus rolls I used. I don’t know about you, but I don’t know many people who manage to get such a good run of luck in LFR. I then used the rest of my bonus rolls running the first part of the LFR another 3 times, managing to get to 470 with enough time to run the first part of HoF before reset. My first trip in to the LFR was excellent, I got 7 pieces of loot from the 6 bosses. So… after I had bought the 450 rings and neck and the 458 PvP set, I was above 460 and ready to set foot into LFR. Add to that, I already had the 476 Engineering goggles and I had pickpocketed around 20 junkboxes from which I managed to get a Krol Scimatar – the 476 agi sword. I got lucky on the way to 90 too: I got a Sha of Anger kill at 88 ish and got a Claw of Anger and the 496 tier trousers. I have gone from a lowly 335 ilvl when i dinged 90, to 479 ilvl in 5 days, mainly thanks to the wonderful troves of the Thunder King solo scenario. So far in MoP, I have played my death knight, warlock, monk, priest and now my rogue as well as lots of different alts.Īnyway this post is really about my first week at 90 on my rogue. In Cata, I started with my mage, then a dk and ended with my rogue. In WOTLK, I started with a warrior, then druid and ended with my rogue. In BC, I leveled a paladin at the start, then a mage and finished with my rogue. Back in Vanilla, my first 60 was my undead rogue (still have this character actually).Īt the start of each expansion since, I have tried to level another character and have always gone back to my rogue by the end of the expansion. That’s our Rogue alts done! See you next week. It would be nice to see some more differences between the specs and maybe a return of the old evasion tanking fun. My biggest grievance is that in nearly 9 years the class plays nearly the same as it did when we started. My favourite spec is combat just because i like swinging my swords around, but I am thinking of trying to learn assassination if i get some daggers drop. I love being able to stealth and pop out the shadows to strike down my foe. I dabble in playing it once or twice a week doing some dungeons or the dreaded LFR to try and keep up with his gear. I leveled it during Cata using the Scroll of Resurrection to level it to 80 when I returned after a break. This is rogue you know as my alter ego Mr WoW. I had lots of fun PvPing and being part of an Assasin squad 😀 video below. I raided throughout vanilla on this but didn’t get that far into BWL. It’s currently level 85 and very unloved with me not touching it since i dinged 85 back in Cata. This rogue was my very first serious character back when I was a little newbie in 2005. I have one alliance at max level which is one of my mains, and a horde at level 85. I’ve been playing rogue in every expansion since vanilla. Eventually I’d kind of like to try some PvP gear, but you all know how scared I am of those BG’s! I’m not completely finished, but she has a lot of BiS gear now and I’m pretty pleased with it. She’s currently a level 70 twink, outfitted in Sunwell PvE gear and she kicks ass in dungeons 😉 I levelled her up the last few levels at a slower pace and I’ve started to enjoy playing her more. In the end, I decided I really wanted to try twinking, so this is what she has become. I eventually had a think about what I wanted to do with her. So, I swapped to my Warlock which worked much better.Īnyway, back to the Rogue. Half the problem, I think, was that we were levelling so quickly that I wasn’t really having time to learn the class ( who said levelling served no purpose?!) and I was getting frustrated. Let’s put it this way – I wasn’t a natural. Why did I spend half my time standing waiting for my energy to regenerate? Which damn opener do I use from stealth? At this point, I wasn’t much of an asset to the team, spending most of my time trying to get behind the stupid mob to get out of stealth. However, after a few days (around level 60), I was having some real issues understanding the class. I created her months ago, but only started playing her when we were levelling as a group. This rogue originally started off as a project with Mr B and 2 other friends, where we were levelling together. I love her name, I wish I’d named my Monk that.

Rogues, the loveable creatures with a hint of mystery.
